Digital Radiography
The use of radiography has been fundamental in equine diagnostic imaging. At Pioneer Equine Hospital we are equipped with a NEXT Equine DR® system by Sound® the latest in digital radiography that is a completely cordless system. In our radiology suite we also have a Eureka MC150 wall-mounted x-ray machine that we use to take abdominal radiographs in our colic patients. To best serve our clients out in the field, we have a CuattroDR® portable radiology system that gives our veterinarians instant diagnostics even when not in the hospital. The radiographic potential of our equipment allows us to image the vast majority of the horse, in the most efficient way with the highest quality images.
